Overview: As a ministry leader for nearly 60 years, Awana helps churches and parents partner to develop spiritually

strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.

Awana is making an impact. A recent national survey found Awana to be as important to our alumni’s spiritual

foundation as all other church activities combined. A notable statistic is that among the alumni who participated in

Awana programs for at least six years, 92.7 percent still attend church “about weekly” or more frequently as adults.

Our Outreach: Each week, more than one million children and youth, 250,000 volunteers and 300-plus field staff

participate in Awana. Over 17,000 churches and 100 denominations operate Awana programs. We have nearly

doubled our influence globally in the last 10 years with more than 12,000 church Awana programs in the U.S. and

5,700 in 101 countries throughout the world.

Awana® Clubs™ connects churches and parents through weekly programs and special events that introduce

children to Christ and build a biblical foundation for their faith. Awana at Home encourages churches and parents to

work together to make the home the most important and effective spiritual influencer of children and youth.

24-7 Ministries™ equips leaders with strategic tools to build a healthy youth ministry that grounds students in a

lasting biblical faith.

Awana International™ empowers Christian leaders worldwide to train children to know, love and serve Christ.

Awana Lifeline™ equips churches and parents to build a legacy of hope in Christ for children of inmates. Awana

Lifeline is active at the Louisiana State Penitentiary and other correctional facilities in the U.S. through Malachi

Dads™, a mentoring program that equips inmate fathers to build a legacy of faith and hope in their children;

Returning Hearts Celebration™, a yearly event held at U.S. prisons that restores relationships between inmate dads

and their kids; and a handbook program that connects kids of inmates to local-church Awana programs for spiritual

training and support.
